What’s included

A two-person crew and a smaller truck that fits city streets and loading bays. We book the service elevator with your building manager, pad the elevator walls and protect shared hallways. Sofas are measured against doorways and stairwells before moving day, and legs or doors are removed where needed. The price is fixed, even if the elevator is slow.

On moving day

Most studios and one-bedroom apartments load in under two hours. The crew moves the large furniture first while you finish the last boxes, then works room by room. Because apartment moves are short, we can often add a second stop on the way, such as a storage unit or a relative’s garage, at no extra charge inside the same area.

How to prepare

Ask your building for its move-in and move-out rules early: many need a certificate of insurance, which we send the same day. Reserve the elevator for a two-hour window. Measure the largest piece of furniture and the narrowest doorway at the new place. Keep boxes small, because books and kitchenware get heavy quickly on stairs.
